Pre-Launch Giveaway

Welcome to Adventure Carry!

We are so excited to launch this community, and we wanted to get started with a giveaway of some great gear!

This community is about more than just outdoor gear – it’s about connecting, travelling, and exploring this amazing planet of ours.  That’s why we added a forum – we want people to be able to engage each other, give travel tips, share photos, and encourage adventures.

We love seeing what people take on their adventures because it inspires us to get out there and explore.  Please post an adventure carry and share your insights on what worked well for you and what gear you’d leave behind next time!

Now on to the gear…

We are giving away a few of our favorites to five lucky winners:

1. Ka-Bar Tanto Knife

In our recent article, The Knife Buyer’s Guide, we reviewed the benefits of a rat-tail tang knife such as this one. The tang extends to the base of the handle, so it is strong and durable. The non-serrated blade is practical for all sorts of outdoor uses.

2. GSI Halulite Minimalist Cookset

A cookset is essential to serious backpackers. This cookset gives you all of the basics without loading down your pack with excess weight.

3. Adventure Medical Kits – Day Tripper Lite

Even when you go on a short day hike, you should always have a medical kit. This one packs all the essentials so you can easily take it with you for a day on the trail.
