 The Spiny Dogfish is Alive with Gavko design influence. A reverse Tanto blade with 2 separate grinds gives a strong tip for piercing while maintaining a thin edge on the belly, perfect for slicing. The handle profile gives secure placement in the hand and the textured G10 scales give good grip. This knife is a perfect utilitarian tool with a combination blade style that suits many different tasks you will encounter everyday.

smooth fidgety twig

Drop shut and glassy smooth out the box. You can vary the detent by flicking lower or higher in the slot. Mid way rockets out, the bottom is slow and lazy, but still makes it with ease. The compound grind is stunning, but not functional. The linen darkens really fast, so now it not only feels like a twig, but looks like one. Despite watching several video reviews, it was super surprising to open and realise how skinny it is. It makes most gentleman's knives look obese.
