This is the second Vision FG that I own. I rarely buy the same model twice but the up sides to this knife are so good that having a few variations is appealing. The fit and finish is top notch. The design elements mean this is long term EDC that will not fail you under normal use conditions. The ultem scales give the knife a flashy fresh feel. Get an FG before they go out of stock. PS - the pocket clip people complain about isn't so bad and can be replaced if its a real issue for you.
Others have already talked about all the good points. This is one quirky knife with a bunch of Easter eggs. This is the first affordable button lock knife with a completely symmetrical handle and the button Dead Centre. The aesthetics completely work for me; there is nothing ordinary about this knife. And then I discover that the blade is beautifully ground, crazy slicy, the action is addictingly slick and crisp, and the handle is more ergonomic than you would imagine. Winner design from Bradley Diaz.
An amazing knife for indoors or outdoors. If you like big blades with super slicy grinds common this is the one! I liked it so much this is already my second one.
Great new take on an old style slip joint.
Awesome value for the quality of this knife.
And as always amazing service from adventure carry
Thanks AC. I love how you guys carry the latest and seem to keep up to date with all the latest releases. thanks for the knife and have a great day everyone.
I have a lot of Kizer knives and the Criptid is the one I carry most of the time. Super slicey blade and fidgety fun. Makes great sounds opening and closing. 154 CM and nice micarta, it is perfect for EDC.
Rosecraft blades are amazing! Great fit and finish. No gaps in the springs and liners. Blade is centered. Half-stop. Pull is maybe a 6. Snaps like a croc. Sharp out of the back but a little stropping doesn’t hurt. All in all, a good blade for everyday use.
I'm not really a double blades traditional kind of man, however as I'm collecting as many RoseCraft blades as I can, I got Mitch (the best in the business) to juice me up, I'm glad I did, unlike some other premium traditionals that charge full price but are happy to send out blades with gapping, blade play ect, especially with traditionals, Andy & RoseCraft blades simply do not do this, this knife is no exception, perfect everything & would make a truly usable & perfectly finished daily EDC. This makes, 14 or 15 RoseCraft blades & each one is practically flawless, I couldn't recommend them more If I was working for them lol best value for money & fit & finish traditional slipjoint on planet earth bar none!!! If you are on a budget but need a hard working edc traditional, you cannot go past RoseCraft blades, if you do, you'll regret it!!
i love the design and blade shape the "skeletonized" liners are awesome, i enjoy the blade shape and texturing on the ultem. it was a tough decision between the aluminum and the ultem but being able to see the liners really sold me. super fidgety button lock, as well has the snappy front flipper with heaps on gimping on the spine and flipper tab. nitro-v is a good steel for $124 and to be designed by an Ausie is a nice cherry on top. great addition to my collection.
What can you say Rose Craft pocket knives are the best with D-2 steel makes for a great steak knife as well.
Better than Case as far as I'm aware of.
Fast delivery great service Adventure Carry.
Had high hopes to carry this one as a work utility knife.
Design looks good but is let down by a few things.
None of the steel edges have been beveled or rolled like the rear flipper and jimping, not sharp enough to hurt but just not comfortable at all .
Also the scale screws are all proud and also not domed.
Blade holder/changer clip is pretty smooth but there is a little play and the blade rattles so as an everyday carry would get old fast
Handy little tool.
Blade replacement clip is super easy to use
My one issue with it is that the push pull opening button gets caught up when closing in the second last position (see photo) so can unwillingly stab your hand or leg when putting in pocket
Normally buy cheap EDC pouches to carry my gear. Decided to give this one a crack as it is more pocketable and tough. Inside is some cash and cards. Outside is a torch, pen, and whatever knife I chose at the time. So far very impressed with the quality. Only available colour was the orange, but I like it.
Another beauty by Rosecraft. I can't get enough of these knifes. Paired with a leather slip, you have an awesome package. To have both a decent sized clip point and a functional sheepsfoot blade in one knife at a great price is outstanding. The finish is once again very impressive. I just want to show it off whenever I'm carrying it.
Great carry case that has a customisable configuration to suit your needs. It’s well made and feels quality. It can store a lot of folders and does an excellent job of hiding my knife addiction from the wife. Get one!
This little knife has probably become my fav.
Civivi never disappoint.
And the colour is mint
I haven't handled any JWK before so this is a first for me.
I was surprised with the fit and finish. Especially the handle material. The blade itself is crazy sharp and nicked me at the first flick.
Tight tolerances and awesome look. Would definitely start a JWK collection now.
Expectations exceeded. I previously purchase the full size version and this seems like the appropriate scale for the design. Very light for its size and material as the scales were hollowed. Blade is pointy but not too aggresive. Overall good bang for the buck
Great knife comes with excellent customer service and fast delivery. Perfect fit and finish with the right size give me so much enjoyment. Absolutely love it.
