Description

The RoseCraft Blades Mill Creek Cotton Sampler in Red Sandalwood combines tradition with modern craftsmanship. This pattern dates back to at least the 1800's and was designed to slice into a bail of cotton, remove a sample and spread the sample for assessment using the the ricasso. It features a 3″ D2 cotton sampler blade with a brushed satin finish, heavy swedging, and a secure half stop. The handle is crafted from genuine Red Sandalwood, accented with brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, and nickel silver pins. Showcasing the new “Rose Bomb” shield, this one-bladed slip joint is a standout. Measuring 3.9″ closed, 6.9″ overall, and weighing just 85g, it’s a fresh take on the classic cotton sampler, re-imagined by Andy Armstrong.
