A Chaves 229 with a flipper tab? Yes sir!

But not just any flipper tab. This Redencion 229 comes equipped with the Lee Williams Kickstop flipper tab, a smart, licensed design that allows the flipper tab to disappear into the handle when the blade is deployed.

Unlike a traditional flipper tab which is attached to the blades tang, the Kickstop flipper tab is a separate component that is mounted on its own pin, allowing it to rotate and conceal itself into the handle upon deployment. This allows for zero flipper tab interference when cutting.

The 229 is the largest of the Redencion range, designed by Ramon Chavez. Featuring M390 blade steel, titanium frame lock construction and a stout design, paired with the iconic Chaves compound grinds and skull clip.
